Posh Puppies and Thurness Cocker Spaniels

I would like to wish all my new puppies owners and grooming customers a very Merry Xmas and a wonderful new year with their new addition to their families and their Posh Puppies.

Please note I have no puppy's available for sale at present, but please keep popping back for any updates. I do not expect to have another litter until Easter time, which some people are already expressing their interest in. The next litter planned will be Breagha & Grouce and there should be blacks and reds available.

Meet Rose ( Thurness Golden Pheasant ) our latest edition. A beautiful puppy from Grouce & Amy at 9 weeks of age.

Rose's litter sister , This was an outstanding litter, all beautiful puppies that are outgoing and friendly. I look forward to updates from their new owners.

Moshi (Thurness Magpie ) is a Grouce & krystal puppy here she is at 5.5 months, still very much a wooly bear!

Thurness Cocker Spaniels has been established for over 25 years and is a small select Kennel of solid quality English Cocker Spaniels. These wonderful dogs make super family pets as well as looking beautiful. They are equally happy curled up either beside you or by the fireside or up on the hills on a 15 mile hike! These days I am kept busy either grooming other peoples beloved pets, getting my own ready for the occasional show or playing with a new litter of puppies, amongst other day to day things.

Amy has a growing fan club and with her ever wagging tail and wonderful nature she is proving herslf to be a star in the show ring as well as a excellent junior handling dog for my daughter. At present she is taking a wee rest while she tries to grow some coat after having had a wonderful quality litter of 7 puppies to Grouce! Amy latest bid for stardom is to be published as a representative of the breed in a new book about breeds of dogs! well done Amy!!

Occasionally I may have an older girl available for a loving retirement home. These ex show dogs make wonderful pets and are ideal for someone who is looking for a dog that has got past the puppy stage and is a bit more sensible.
